I really like Peter Gabriel. He fascinated me as a kid in the 80’s, and even though he had success in the 80’s on MTV, he never felt the need to keep playing that sort of music and went on to do music he wanted to create and not what everyone thought he should be doing. I respect that a lot.
I went and saw his Secret World tour a couple of days after I graduated back in 1993. It was one of the most incredible concerts I have ever been to. The man is beyond amazing.
Sorry that I missed out this morning. I love Bittersweet Symphony and I dig Gabriel,s more accessible stuff, like the duet he did with K8 Bush and stuff.Well if this goes thru, it may be pushing the boundaries a bit as to what mellow is but its definitely smooth.
