Great review guys. Good to see a movie review for a nice, little change, that and the Kick-Ass bashing of coarse. And anyone who wants to talk Inception with me can check out my review I made on my blog: http://comicszone.wordpress.com/2010/08/05/movie-review-inception/
I loved Inception so much. I hope it makes lots and lots of money. The cast was great and did a really nice job. Levitt’s character was my favorite as well. I want to see this movie again so bad and I’m considering buying it on DVD when it comes out.
You know what comic book Inception reminds me of? SHIELD. Both require your attention 110% of the time and if you miss out on one detail you’re screwed. Great review guys! Can’t wait for Last Rants!
Great review guys! This is one of the best films I’ve seen in quite sometime. I actually went to the cinema to see it, which I usually don’t get to do at 9 bucks a clip. Really fantastic stuff, Nolan has proved himself as a master of the screen. A lot of people I’ve talked to have said that it was SOOO hard to follow and confusing; I really didn’t have a hard time following it at all. I was glued to the screen the entire time and could think of nothing else. It was a thrill ride.
Levitt was my favorite character as well. I loved the spinning hallway fight sequence. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful fight scene. Makes you wonder what could be done with a Superman flick nowadays. Using his powers (especially flight) so organically. If only we could find someone with a vision (unlike Singer).
I was going to wait to see it, but having Ellen Page and Joesph Gordon Levitt in a Nolan directed film was just too much to wait for. Truly splendid stuff. I wonder how anyone can write a screenplay like this and keep it so seamless, without going insane!
Are spoilers discussed in the video?
I think the reason Nolan ended it that way was to put doubt in our heads that it could be a dream.Whbich fits perfectly with the movie.
I thought the movie ended with him in reality, well I think my mind is made up on the subject.
Why does it seem like Elliot was over thinking the movie?
I thought the ending was great it holds your attention until it cut to black and you hear it topple over.
It’s a movie made for thought.
I’ve seen it 3 times already and discovering new things, I missed the whole “wedding ring” part.
Yeah, I did miss the “wedding ring” part as well maybe that’s why I’m going to see it again.
Best movie of the summer and best review of said movie!
I completely missed the part about the top being his wife’s totem, I guess I’ll be seeing it a fourth time.
Hey J. you know how you said that the boozaka was planted by the architect. I think the forger character being the forger that he is made it using his abilities. lol and the ending i believe the decaprio character was still dreaming. The decaprio character was gone for multiple months and hadent seen his children for a long time. when he finally does see his children i believe they are still wearing the same clothes and haven’t aged one bit. remaining exactly like he remembered them.
I still read the whole movie as he was asleep the whole time. Because we don’t get a ton of backstory, it seems plausible that this is just a more realistic dream to Leo
