Back by popular demand! And by “popular demand” I mean because one person asked for it. So, here ya go. Talk about your favorite comic releases of the week in the comment section below. Please do not give out any spoilers either. That would just be rude.

  1. The All-New Wolverine Saga was my favorite! I loves me some wiki-padding! :) Just Kidding.

I only bought one comic this week: Invincible#74, so it wins by default.

excellent post i usually send these sucker straight to the recycle bin but i plan i reading this one just see how crazy and soap opera wolvie’s life is

    • Lobis says:

well for me … was pretty good intro for wolverine damn and for invincible i find the issue #1 (second print) >P

  2. TheMSpot says:

Yeah, I’ll have to agree with comicbookdude everything Kirkman put out this week was a winner.

  3. pauxer says:

i bought batman 702, fantastic four, and wonder woman. Batman was great it filled in a lot of unanswered questions. I thought fantastic four was ok. It didn’t end the story ark too well. My favorite comic of the week was Wonder Woman. I was not a big Wonder Woman fan before JMS took over. Now It is one of the best comics out there.

With WW I’m just not sure if I’m fully on board with this run, It has been ok but not the great restart that I thought it was going to be. I will keep picking it up but I’m just not sure if I can make it the top of my stack yet.

  4. kurumais says:

my mvp of the week was action comics starring lex luthor
though the superboy back up confused me if you want to start a superboy SOLO title why put all those other folks in it is it possible to have a solo title in the dcu anymore?

  5. MicahSkin says:

X-Factor 208. Just for the Bitch Eye Layla gave Rahne after she lied about the baby Daddy. No Sophia Loren but Layla got BE skillz.

  6. Pobra says:

I’ve really been digging the current Secret Warriors arc and this week’s issue was no exception. Hickman wrote the hell out of that book and Vitti’s art is really starting to grow on me.
    5/5

  7. phil says:

Well since I’m bowing out for a few months after this……I’m gonna check out Guarding the Globe #1, then get the trade next year. Same with WW

  8. TheRichestManinTown says:

Ex Machina just ended, I know it’s not this week but still, Ex Machina dawg! I’m always late to the Brian K Vaughn game but that’s not so bad as I get to experience it all in one go. This series has the same great riding as Y: The Last Man but with much more maturity and bitterness in the writing.

  9. Insideman says:

Even though I haven’t received it yet– I’m gonna go with he Complete Peanuts Hardcover Box 1975-1978.

    Stick with the classics!

  10. Deemar says:

    Wassup all

  11. Mike F says:

    Batman 702.

    Best comic of the month.

    • comics_addict says:

I thought it was ok and how it connect thematically Batman RIP to Final Crisis and The Return of Bruce Wayne. Since I don’t enjoyed the later two stories for me it lost most of the weight it was suppose to have. To each our own, right?

    • Stamps says:

Agreed. Batman 702 ruled my stack this week.

  12. Deemar says:

Mikey check your inbox in 10mins

    Insideman is done

  13. comics_addict says:

This week I bought Batman # 702, Action Comics # 892 & (I know I’m late to the party) The Flash # 1. I thought that both Batman and Action were ok reads, not what I was hoping for but at least The Flash book was just a delight so not that much of a loss considering the previous issues of both Batman & Action were awesome.

  14. megamanx4ever says:

Invincible 74 was hands down the best comic this week.

  15. SmokeyClocks says:

Though it came out last week, i bought it this week so I’m going to count it anyways. The Bulletproof Coffin is a breath of fresh yet very strange air. It also has a comic within a comic for those who like that sort of thing.

    • tomstewdevine says:

This book is very different, but quite enjoyable. I didn’t know if they were talking about real creators from the past I haven’t heard about. but then the comparisons to Stan and Jack were very evident.

  16. tomstewdevine says:

Fools, the best book of the week was Scalped. Just such a deep story spanning multiple generations. Even though I feel people don’t talk about it as much as they used to, Scalped is the best book coming out.(next best would be SHIELD)

  17. tomstewdevine says:

Thanks for putting up this thread, I feel like for a blog about comics, there sometimes isn’t enough comic talk. :)

  18. Lobis says:

it will come out a new wolverine comic book?

  19. Heck says:

    I didn’t buy anything.

    I’m re-reading Blankets though.

  20. Black Widow #5

First Arcs conclusion. It delivers and is the best one. Liu and Acuna will leave the series and swiercynski and mark garcia are up next.
