Sing a Song for Me Ladybird

Who: Melissa Gold a.k.a Songbird

Where: Thunderbolts #134

Why: Songbird is about to become a huge thorn in Norman Osborn’s backside. Not only is she getting the old band back together but by the end of this issue has also gained some new and quite powerful allies who will be supporting her in her quest to bring an end to the Dark Reign. I have a feeling that big things are in r’ poppin’ and little things r’ stoppin’ for this character in the coming year.

Watch for our review of Thunderbolts #134 later this week on the CCW Video Channel.

lol i was just wondering where the character of the week was
im a huge songbird fan ive been with the tbolts from the beggining and her journey from villian to hero was fun and amazing to watch she is the real deal she has the right stuff in terms of being a hero more than any of the other thunderbolts she has really become a superhero
i was just wondering if it time for her to become an avenger? remeber she was in avengers forever

    very good choice

    • He he. I finally realized earlier today that I didn’t do a character of the week yesterday. That’s why it was a day late. I was busy drinking beer and watching The Fisher King and then The Ice Storm on cable last night.

I do think the she will become an Avenger soon too.

I hope we don’t get some hack writer on it….hey Elliot, you talk to Quesada over the SDCC weekend? ;P

  4. Oops. I thought they were actually going to cancel Thunderbolts. I talk about it in our Tbolts review this week. Is it not getting canceled?

  5. Locusmortis says:

I haven’t seen a confirmation on that. Of course they may just cancel it and call it Dark Thunderbolts and charge 3.99 for it…

  6. X-Man75 says:

Hey, with Songbird showing up, I may need to start reading T-bolts again!

  7. comicbookdude89 says:

Thunderbolts is definetely a very solid book. I regret buying Deadpool: Merc with a mouth#2 today cause it was a piece of sh*t! Shoulda got TBolts#134 instead… where’s a damn time machine when you need one?!? lol
