Lately my Nintendo Wii has just been collecting dust. It’s very good at doing that. I don’t think I’ve even turned it on for the better part of this year. It should get a good work out though whenever I decide to pick up Vanilla Ware’s new beautiful 2-D side-scroller Muramasa. That should be just the warm up my Wii needs to get me ready for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle‘s release early next year.
The first No More Heroes game was a total joy to play and the second looks to go above and beyond my wildest expectations. The fact that the main character Travis Touchdown swears like a sailor, wields a
lightsaber beam katana, has a love for 8-bit video games, is an otaku and a pro-wrestling aficionado may have something to do with it. Plus the game’s creator, Suda 51, is one of the coolest motherfuckers around. I’m sure you guys will be hearing more about this game here on the blog in the months to come.
