  1. JohnnyHorror92182 says:

The last two issues of Didio’s Outsiders has been entertaining.

  2. hero vs. villian says:

Dan Didio has come down on the radar BIG time compared to Joey Q. Jim lee is one of the best artists out there, I love his work, I love what he did on Hush despite being with Jeph Loeb, and Geoff Johns, I don’t think I need to say why he is so awesome.

  3. Venom829 says:

This is GREAT!!! Jim Lee and Geoff Johns in charge of big comic decisons at D.C.? Wicked! Those two creators are THE SHIT!

  4. Deemar says:

Yo’ if this means Geoff has more say in the going ons at DC I’m with it.

So long as he doesn’t go Bendis on us

  5. Morlock50 says:

Is anybody worried about Johns spreading himself out a little too thin here? Will he be able to maintain the same level of quality on his regular titles?

      • TheComicRant says:

My problem with Johns is he never finishes what he starts. He brings back Kandor and forms New Krypton, thus shaking the Superman books. Then he leaves to do Blackest Night and the whole event turns into just that, an EVENT. Rather than a story it becomes “TONS OF KRYPTONIANS CAUSING PROBLEMS” and moreso just pure suckage.

Now he brought Barry Allen back but just how long will he actually stay on Flash? 4-5 issues? The guy only wants to bring back Silver Age stuff that HE enjoys. Now, if he writes it well (which he does) I don’t have a problem, but if he just brings campy ideas back, to just let others have to deal with, that’s bad form.

        • Ironmuskrat says:

I have to agree, i was looking at all of Johns projects coming up and I started to think, “no way he is going to do that much work and maintain a good level of quality.” Now he is the chief creative guy also? I guess we will have to see if he can pull this off.

  6. Smallmaniac says:

Ok guys, let’s keep in mind that these people are human. THEY WILL SCREW UP. It’s going to happen and it should happen, so that they flesh out any problems. So long as they remain humble and learn from their mistakes they won’t go Bendis on us. This is HUGE news for the history of DC comics.

All speculation aside, I wish Didio, Lee, and Johns the best.

  7. SMARTASS8 says:

Along with all the big DC news, we even got a few words from the Prince Of Professionalism himself…

  8. SMARTASS8 says:

While this is unofficial, it looks like JMS might be at DC for awhile(or at least not at Marvel)…

    …Read the fourth interview question.

    • Aww, Joey Q is feeling butthurt about some rightful criticism of One More Day? That’s actually kinda funny.

Thanks for these links Smartass. Haven’t has a chance to look around the net much yet today.

      J.

      • Morlock50 says:

Any chance for Brevoort to be put into this mysterious “cone of silence”?

        • TheComicRant says:

Some of the comments about JMS under that article are complete fanboy bullshit. JMS got screwed over twice by Marvel. First by having to write that garbage “One More Day” and then by getting the boot off of one of the greatest runs in recent Marvel history (Thor) just so freakin Siege can take place.

          • TheComicRant says:

The guy has every right to be pissed at Marvel yet he remains a gentleman. Props to JMS, one of the greatest comic writers in the industry.

  9. SMARTASS8 says:

Now that Didio is officially in charge of Karen Berger, I wonder if we’ll get to see Swamp Thing in the DCU again(I mean more than just a panel here or there) since Vertigo isn’t doing anything with him(and the things they’ve done with him in the past have been absolute failures). I’ve always assumed that it was Levitz that enforced that from ever happening. Even JMS was shot down when he wanted to use Swampy in Brave & The Bold.

    • Locusmortis says:

It could happen, we’ve just seen the Phantom Stranger play a part in Blackest Night so we might see some of the more fantastical Vertigo characters in the DCU in the future

      • SMARTASS8 says:

The weird thing is Constantine, Swamp Thing, and Sandman are all off limits(I really only care about having Swampy back) even though they all started at DC interacting with DCU characters. Didio always made it seem that the reason DC couldn’t use the characters was because of Berger’s wishes. I find that hypocritical since a few current DC characters have been featured in Madame Xanadu(a character I still remember fondly for her all nude issue in The Spectre #9 that somehow missed the censors back when I was a little kid. LOL). It’s also weird that Phantom Stranger seems to have the ability to go back and forth between imprints while others go to Vertigo and rarely come back(Deadman because the Vertigo book was a bomb and Animal Man & Doom Patrol at the request of superstar Grant Morrison).

  10. Rob F says:

I still would like to know what Jim Lee knows about the business of comics…I know he’s a great artist and all that but can he really run the day to day aspect?
