It’s going to be pretty tough to top Gantz Vol. 13 in my opinion but I still do have a couple of books in my stack that need reading so anything is possible. I also have yet to play with my Solid Snake. It’s still in the box in came in and is bigger than I thought it would be. Can’t wait to show it off.

Since it was a crappy ship week feel free to talk about last week’s books as well.

Back by popular demand! And by “popular demand” I mean because one person asked for it. So, here ya go. Talk about your favorite comic releases of the week in the comment section below. Please do not give out any spoilers either. That would just be rude.

You know what to do, right? Please let us know what your favorite comic of the week was and why down in the comments.

There were actually a surprising amount of good books that came out on Wednesday. X-Factor #200, Underground #4, Brave and the Bold #30, and Daredevil #503 (just to name a few) were all solid reads. One book that surprised me was Forgetless #1 from Image. Interesting story and good art made it very enjoyable. I will definitely have to keep up with this series. BUT as great as all of those books were I am going to have to go with Green Lantern Corps #43 because it was kinda epic.

It’s Saturday here on the blog (as I imagine it is in most parts of the world) and that means that we would like to know what the best comic you read this week was. So please tell us the title of said book and why it was so damn awesome down in the comments section.

For me it was a tossup between The Sword #20 and the Empowered One-Shot.

So much good stuff came out this week. Between Secret Warriors, Chew, Green Lantern, Invincible Iron Man, Blackest Night, Fantastic Four, Beasts of Burden, Detective Comics, Incredible Herc it really is hard to pick the best book. But luckily for me it has been brought to my attention that I am in fact a completely biased DC fanboy so I will go ahead and choose Blackest Night #5. Not because it had one of the coolest, most bad ass endings to a comic in quite some time but simply because it is not a Marvel book.

How about all of you? Please let us know what your favorite book of the week was and why down in the comments.

FYI: Anyone who picks a non-DC book will automatically have their comment removed.

P.S.

It case you couldn’t tell, I was laying on the sarcasm pretty thick up there. I felt the need to point that out because some people just can’t tell. 🙂

It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for you guys and gals to tell us what your favorite book of the week was and why. Though I did read quite a few things this week I am going to have to go with Invincible #68 as being the best of the best. Brave and the Bold #29 was great too.
